Now I don't think I'm overweight, but I've come to hate buying clothes. I have "curves" people. Hips, butt, boobs. I can't help it. It kills me that when I finally find a pair of pants that fit my butt and thighs well, they are 6" too long for me. I wear suits a lot to work. Shirts are always a problem. It seems that most of the tops that I find are WAY too low cut for what I deem "professional." Hey, I'm trying to work here, not catch a man. I prefer to buy button-down shirts but why are these shirts seldom tailored to fit my breasts? They have such a boxy figure so their both too tight on top and then look messy sticking out of my pants. Occasionally, I can find the fitted shirts, but those are never long enough to keep tucked in! I can't buy "full figured" clothes because I still have a small waist. *sigh* They just hang off of me and look sloppy. Anyone have any talent and want to start designing clothes?

I don't have the talent, but I know how you feel about the pants being too long! I always have to get mine hemmed up or I just cut off the bottoms of my jeans. And yes, a lot of my shirts I own, I can't even wear to work on fridays because they are too tight or too short and show the belly. Anywhere else is okay, but at work, I like to look non-trampy.

I have the opposite issue. I'm tall. So, it's so hard for me to find jeans or pants that are long enough.. I stick to jeans from 3 stores... and thats it. And it annoys me soooo much how they never carry longs in the stores. I have to go online.. Hey, maybe tall ppl like to try on clothes before they buy too... As for shirts. I dont have issues.. Sometimes things can be too short. (again with that tall thing).

Why can't they just sell women's pants in lengths like men's pants?
Oh, right, because that would make SENSE.

Yeah! I don't get why men get to buy 34 32's but we get 5's 7's etc...I always get confused!

And the sizes are never the same.. ever. From store to store or even within the same store.
I wish they did pants by inseam and stuff... Maybe then I could easily find jeans long enough!

One of my coworkers knows someone that works for Gap or something. And apparently when they cut out the jean material with whatever machine... The jeans towards then end get cut bigger bc of the machine shifting or something. He explained the whole thing to me awhile ago. Complete with a white board diagram...

You'd think they'd be able to make better machines now.

No, the Editor cut is too tight on my thighs and bum. I'm all about the Correspondent pants.

Ahh, Ive tried the correspondant pants. They don't look right on me. oh well... but now I'm annoyed with the lack of long jeans in stores... I found a pair of jeans that I loved at AE. and I need a new pair, mine are all too big now... and no longs!!!!! So, now I have to order them online. Why can't they just have longs in the store. Tall people go to the mall too, damn it!

I should have added that I like the correspondent cut at Express because I have huge thighs. It's usually too difficult for me to buy jeans or anything because I can't get them over my thighs.
I also hate when I get a pair of pants that fits my thighs and bum, but they don't come back IN once they've passed the hips. That's the kind of pants that I lean forward and everyone can see straight down.

I was thinking about this thread today, as I was wearing a button-down shirt and swearing at the gap. There has to be a good solution to the gap. I usually just wear undershirts, but it's just so darn hot out.
