As I was wandering the aisles of Blockbuster l saw two movies that l had seen awhile ago, and really enjoyed them. Muriels Wedding and the original La Femme Nikita, reading on the IMDB site I noticed the same director Luc Besson did Leon as well. Anyone seen these and if you did what did you think of them? Leon (The Professional) is a great movie, I love it. Have not seen La Femme Nikita, but I can tell you one thing, the TV show sucked. I had that disappointing experience of seeing it on something like, USA "Up all Night" back in the day, when I'd strive to stay awake until 3am so I could watch "Weird Science"...Anyway....

Aww the tv show did suck, give the original movie a try. You'll be so proud of me Star l rented Princess Bride and l realized l had never seen it before?? Don't know how l missed that. I'm not quite finished it yet was very tired last night and fell asleep on the couch (not because of the movie so far l'm enjoying it) Right now l'm watching Stirs of Echo's on the Space Channel. After that l'll finish Princess. Ta, ta for now!

Oh, Princess Bride rocks! And Carey Elwes is so hot in that movie. Yum! Oh, and here's a link to the Video Libarary of Philadelphia www.vlibrary.com/ They have a huge selection of movies, really good and obscure movies too. My ex-boyfriend worked there. Check it out.

He was very cute. l laughed when they took Wesley to Miracle Max and Valerie his wife came out. "Get back witch" I laughed even harder at the wedding when the Impressive Clergy started to talk, damn funny. There was lots of funny lines but l think my favorite was from Prince Humperdink " Tyrone you know how much l love watching you work. But I've got my country's 500th anniversary to plan, my wedding to arrange, my wife to murder, and Guilder to frame for it. I'm swamped."

Princess Bride is the best! I love it, I love it.
I love the scene where Mandy Patinkan and Cary Elwes fence each other. I just love the humor in that movie, it's great.

My favorite line: "Hello. I am Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die."
I'm a simple guy with simple pleasures. Inigo rules.

Inigo does rule, I love him. I'd marry the Spaniard. That lady was sooo funny Emme, "BOOO! Bow down to the Queen of Garbage! BOOOOO!" haha. She gave me nightmares though when I was a kid. I sort of have this funny story about the princess bride. My father told me to rent it when I was little and I was like "no this movie will suck, it's a kids movie" (cause I was too cool for kids movies, i wanted to watch "Critters" or something) Anyway, he said I couldn't get another movie unless I got that one, so I was like FINE! So I watched it with him and I loved it, he had seen it before and thats why he wanted me to see it, he knew I'd love it. And it was so hard for me to admit I loved it but I have thanked him for it ever since

Awww thats so cool. My son wasn't into movies until just last year. He started watching alot of them and it gave us something else to talk about. We talk but it was great to have something in common to discuss. I like Mandy Patinkin as an actor did anyone catch the short lived series Dead Like Me. I'm happy to see him on another series this fall which looks good called Criminal Minds. Its on Wednesdays at 9 on CBS

I didn't catch that show he was in. I have seen him sing a few times in playhouses though over the years. Very nice voice. I'll have to check out his new show. He looks so different now though from when he played Inigo Montoya.
Did you check out the DVD? It has a cool special featurette on there, with all the cast talking about the movie in present day. I think it made me cry when they were talking about Andre the Giant (his death). I'm such a sap.

Um, I don't know what DVD you have.....
If the cover has a picture of the Princess, it should just be one DVD. But there should be on the main menu a "special features" selection.

Oh yeah l remembered two other movies l had watched years ago that l really enjoyed, Priscilla Queen of the Desert and Too Wong Foo Thanks for Everything Julie Newmar
