Eyes of the Dragon was...interesting, not one of my favorites but still good. It just took me a few months to really get into it. The Talisman was good, and alludes to future Dark Tower works. Can I assume you have or will read Balck House then? Isn't that the second part to The Talisman? I want to read The Talisman again before getting part two Posted by phillygirl2873 on Today at 8:56am I loved the Talisman. I read it years ago, but it has stayed with me. It's one of those books that pops into my mind from time to time. Yes l agree its one that l still remember parts of it and l read it years ago to.

I'm pretty sure there is a movie being made about The Talisman.

I just never really got into reading his stuff, bc I've always assumed its really scary... I want to read The Shining... Somehow those two statements contradict each other. haha, I know... But I love the movie version. And my stepmother assured me I would be able to handle the book....

Well, I'll say it was the spookiest. But I don't really get too scared from books.

I'll get scared from anything if I think about it long enough. Like around 2am, and I'm just coming up with all these crazy ideas in my head.

Me too. I can really spook myself and get myself worked up. I remember having nightmares about Zelda from Pet Cemetary. Blair Witch Project had me afraid to be alone for about a week. and The Ring spooked me too. But, you get over it. I'm much more afraid of my debt and my mortgage now. lol

I was afraid of the asian chick from The Grudge for 2 weeks if it makes you feel better.
Read The Shining, it's classic.

I wouldnt face the wall for over a week when I slept freshman year after watching blair witch.
I once couldnt sleep after watching an episode of law and order: svu. It didnt help that the crazy killer guy was located in a small town north east of lowville, ny.. (kinda where I went to college) yikes! Freaked me out
