Is anyone here a huge Tolkien fan? This doesn't just include The Lord of the Rings or The Hobbit, but also The Silmarillion, the History of Middle Earth books, etc.
I've only read two of the Histories, but all of the other three mentioned. His other works include Sir Gawain and the Green Knight (haven't read) and Smith of Wotton Major & Farmer Giles of Ham (Haven't read it either).

I agree me. The Silmarillion is pretty tough. But, it's so dang epic. I absolutely love the story of Turin. If it could be done right, it'd make a heck of a movie/mini-series.

I have only read the LotR books, but I am trying to make time for the others. I just hate reading a book when I know there will be distractions.
