Sky Captain just looked like one of those horrible movies that I already knew was horrible just by watching the trailer I wish I could have known from the trailer. It was the biggest waste of my time. Sorry lonewolf, but I hated that movie! It may have seemed cool if it was done in the 50s, but today? No Way. It was so boring, I didn't care about any of the characters. The acting was so bad, like 1940s bad. The plot was eh and the special effects were horrible. The only thing I liked about the movie was the cinematography.

I liked it 'cause it reminded me of the old Max Fliescher superman cartoons. That's why I said this guy should have made a superman movie instead of Sky Captain. It would have been awsome!
Speaking of awsome, has anyone seen the new teaser trailer for King Kong? I didn't think it was possible to make him believable, but Peter Jackson has come through again!

The trailer for King Kong is great, I love Adrian Brody, something about him is sexy to me. I like Jack Black too and am happy to see him in another movie. Naomi Watts was great in Mulholland Drive but that was the last I saw of her that I liked.

There is this movie called "Snakes on a Plane" - I'm really looking forward to it but I have no idea why. It's probably going to be a shitty B-Movie and I hate snakes. But, it has Samuel L Jackson in it, and Samuel L Jackson + Snakes + On a Plane = What seems to be some pretty fantastic shit.
Hard Candy - This movie looks cool, but I have a feeling it may suck, but for now I will just go with "It looks cool". It basically seems to be about a predator on the internet who meets up with some 14 year old chick, but she ends up being something more than he expected - I think a murderer, or a vigilante....something that is really going to get his panties in a twist.
Lady in the Water - Doesn't come out til the end of summer, but it is M. Night Shyamalan and I love his movies! This movie looks really good and the preview totally freaks me out, and it has Paul Giamatti in it who rocks, and Bryce Dallas Howard who is going to be playing a sea nymph living in an apartment complex pool...ooooOoOoOoooOoo spooky.
Manderlay - Well, I don't really know if or when I will get to see this, I'm unsure about its theatrical release in Houston. I think it was already released in NY. I really want to see this movie though, it is the sequel to Dogville, which was awesome...if you haven't seen that yet, watch it! - It starts off slow and the setting is strange but I promise you it is worth it.

Oooo I also can't wait to see The Hills Have Eyes, 16 Blocks, MI:III (even though I don't want to watch Tom, I want to see Phillip Seymour Hoffman), and X3.
I hope that "The Hills" is as good as the original if not better! Emile de Ravin looks like she is going to kick some ass.

I agree about the Snakes on a Plane. When I first heard about that movie I laughed, but then it sounds like it will be so horrible that it will be great.
I love M Night and I look forward to everything he does. I wasn't as impressed with the last movie, The Village, but Paul Giamatti is one of my favorite actors. I'd watch that man watch paint dry.
V for Vendetta looks good.
Oh, Inside Man with Clive Owen, Denzel Washington and Jodi Foster? Yeah, I will see that. I don't even know what it is about, but I will watch that.

I really liked The Village, I'm part of the 2% of people that do though lol. I liked it, but it was my least favorite of his movies. #1 Sixth Sense #2 and #3 tied Signs and Unbreakable #4 The Village I just checked out IMDB and aparently he's also done Wide Awake and Playing With Anger, which I've never seen. Oh and Life of Pi is in pre-production. That sounds great (because I'm a math geek and will watch anything with Pi in the title.) It's like Kevin Smith movies. I liked Jersey Girl, but it was my least favorite of his films.

Lady in the Water is coming out in August too Philly, I can't wait for that one. Paul Giamatti is the lead.
Wide Awake is pretty decent, it's a comedy, not like his other films.
I think I like Signs or Unbreakable the most, then The Village and then the Sixth Sense. It's really close though, I love the Sixth Sense but it is actually my least favorite from him.

Not about movies but last night l was watching tv and they had this trippy commercial on. At first when l was watching it l kept thinking wtf? It takes place in a restraunt. Then at the end a waitress goes up to M. night and says "I really like your movies" Its an American Express commercial....AWESOME!! Star..have you seen Nightwatch yet? I saw another commercial for 'The Hills Have Eyes' That looks soooo freaky, l got goosebumps watching it. Don't think l'll be rushing to the theatre to see that...
